My studies of calculus 1-3, microeconomics, vector calculus, and computer science at UCSD, have provided me with a unique skill set applicable in the fintech industry and beyond. I can apply calculus and vector calculus to financial analysis, such as optimizing portfolios and modeling risk.  Additionally, my computer science experience enables me to develop algorithms, automate processes and utilize programming languages and tools for data analysis and visualization. I have strong skills in Python programming, which I can use to analyze financial data and develop machine-learning algorithms.

The notable coursework I took was High-Level IB Business Management, Macroeconomics, and Microeconomics, which provided me with a strong foundation in business principles and economic theories. This background has given me a deeper understanding of how financial analysis, data analysis, and programming can be leveraged for business applications. I learned about topics such as marketing, finance, operations, human resources, and ethics in Business Management, and fundamental principles of macro and microeconomics, including supply and demand, market structures, monetary policy, and trade in Economics. The qualitative knowledge I gained from these courses complements the technical knowledge and skills I have gained.
